The research project “No carrots, no sticks: How do peer reviews among states acquire authority in global governance?” is funded by the Dutch Organisation for Academic Research (NWO). It runs until the end of 2017.
The project’s principal investigator and three PhD candidates work together with the aim of producing scholarly articles and a book-length study on peer reviews in international organisations. Moreover, we aim at advising international organisations and national administrations about the Do’s and Dont’s of developing and operating peer reviews with a view to making their use most effective.
