Practical Information
By train/bus
Maastricht is on the Dutch intercity rail network, with direct connections to Eindhoven and Amsterdam. There are also direct international trains to Liege-Guillemins, Belgium, and Aachen, Germany.
By car
Maastricht is on the E25 highway.
By plane
Maastricht is easily accessible from Eindhoven Airport. Other regional airports include Amsterdam, Brussels, Charleroi, Düsseldorf, Köln/Bonn, and Weeze.
Local transportation
The public transport service in Maastricht and South Limburg is provided by Arriva. There is also an option to use the Belgian De Lijn busses. The conference venue is closest to the bus stop Frontensingel/Maagdendries or Mosae Forum/Centrum (from busses from the station) or ”Koningin Emmaplein’ (from other directions). From the station, you can take the Arriva busses 5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 13 or 62. The Belgian bus from De Lijn 20a is also an option.
The faculty is at a walking distance of 20 minutes from the station.
If you come from Brussels, there is a Belgian train NMBS connection through Liège Guillemins (where you have to switch trains) or through Bilzen (where you have to switch to bus 20a).
