Travelling nanotechnologies is an analysis of the ways in which nanotechnologies travel from the laboratory to different user contexts. It focuses on how nanotechnologies change when travelling from one environment to another, be it from the laboratory to a village or across geographical boundaries. The research investigates the intricate relationship between technology and society by exploring the travelling of nanotechnologies as a process in which various groups of people with different interests and values are implicated. The study involves travelling after the artifacts, while paying particular attention to the transformations which the travelling entails and documenting the jagged lines that emerge.
