What is VISTA Network about?
The single market has become one of the main foundations of European integration as well as one of the EU’s most powerful instruments to exert international influence.
Significant shifts in the EU’s internal and external economic and (geo)political environment call for a more systematic investigation of whether, and how, the EU single market is able to respond to these challenges and maintain the momentum for further developing important recent initiatives.
The VISTA Network establishes itself with this purpose, bringing together an inter-disciplinary team of scholars, early-career researchers and policy experts to examine and compare four key thematic areas at the forefront of the single market integration: financial market, digital market, energy market and defence market.
Through the production of different outputs, the VISTA network will work both on education – involving in particular young researchers – and on research, exchanging best practices and involving key international scholars and experts.
Five academic institutions and two leading think tanks in Europe, bringing together their expertise and their international networks.
